When I first pulled up to Dalaa 7, honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from the unassuming entrance along Bang Hwan Road. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that don’t need to shout about themselves. This four-star villa resort sits quietly in Kamala Beach, and there’s something refreshing about that understated approach. The moment you step through the gates, you realize this isn’t your typical tourist trap — it’s got that authentic Thai villa vibe that’s becoming harder to find these days.

The Villa Experience

Each room here is actually more like your own private retreat, which explains why couples rate this place so highly. I mean, when you’ve got your own space with traditional Thai touches mixed with modern comfort, it’s hard not to feel special. The pool villas (which is what most people come for) give you that sense of having your own little compound. The design feels thoughtful — not overdone, but definitely more sophisticated than your average beach accommodation.

Location & Getting Around

Kamala Beach isn’t Patong, and that’s exactly the point. You’re close enough to the action if you want it, but far enough away to actually relax. The parking situation is refreshingly stress-free — they’ve got private spots on-site, which anyone who’s dealt with Phuket’s parking nightmare will appreciate. The beach is walkable, though I’d recommend renting a scooter if you want to explore the coastline properly. Local tip: the seafood places down by the water are where the locals actually eat, not the touristy spots closer to the main road.

Activities & Amenities

What surprised me most was how well-positioned this place is for water activities. The diving and snorkeling options nearby are genuinely good — not just tourist-friendly, but actually worth your time if you’re into underwater exploration. The fishing excursions they can arrange aren’t the usual cattle-boat experiences either. There’s a local operator they work with who knows the waters around here better than most. The resort itself keeps things simple but functional — you’re not drowning in facilities you don’t need, but everything you do need is there and works properly.

Why Guests Love It

After staying here, I get why the ratings are consistently high. It’s that sweet spot between authentic and comfortable that’s surprisingly hard to find in Thailand these days. The staff actually remembers your name (and your coffee preference), the villas feel private without being isolated, and you’re in Kamala without being stuck there. For couples especially, there’s something about the pace here that just works — you can be as social or as secluded as you want. Plus, honestly, the value is solid for what you’re getting. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place on the island, but it delivers on the things that actually matter when you’re trying to unwind.

  The property was beautiful. Off the Main Street so it’s nice and peaceful. It’s right in the streets where Kamala residents live so it’s a great insight into the lifestyle in Kamala. 5 minutes from convenience stores, supermarkets, restaurants, laundry services, bike rentals etc. and approximately 15 minutes to Pa Tong by car. The owner Frank was lovely and takes immense prides in his resort, from the entrance right through to all villas the gardens are just gorgeous. Resort is well-maintained and the staff are so happy there. Alam especially. He checked in everyday to ensure our stay was immaculate and that all our requests were fulfilled. One phone call to Alam and our transfers, activities, bike rentals, and housekeeping were sorted. My mum also had trouble leaving the villa some days due to limited mobility and Alam was able to organise to have a driver bring her breakfast from the Coffee Club. He really went out of his way to ensure our stay was nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking to visit Phuket and not wanting to stay in the hustle and bustle of Pa Tong. Great value for money and great amenities. 5/5 stars

  We recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Dala7 in Kamala Beach, Phuket. We were absolutely blown away by the beautiful pool and the super clean villa.
  
  The villa with the private pool is spacious, surrounded by lush greenery and well-appointed . The decor is modern , stylish and the furniture is comfortable . There’s three bedrooms that are all ensuite and have queen-size beds and flat-screen TV , while the bathrooms have walk-in showers and one of them has a bathtub. The villa also has a large living room with a flat-screen TV, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. Only a toaster was not available.
  
  The pool is the highlight of the villa. It is surrounded by sun loungers and The water is crystal clear. We spent hours swimming, lounging in the sun, and playing games in the pool under the rain. It was the perfect way to cool off and relax after a day of exploring.
  
  The staff are very friendly and attentive. They are always happy to help with anything you need especially Alam, He is incredibly friendly and helpful, and he always goes above and beyond to make sure that guests have a great stay.
  
  I would highly recommend Villa Dala7 to anyone especially Muslim families whose looking for a luxurious and relaxing stay in Kamala, Phuket.
