The interiors surprised me too – they’ve clearly put some thought into the design without going overboard. Clean lines, decent-sized bathrooms (always a relief), and beds that don’t feel like they were sourced from a prison commissary.

What really sets this place apart though is the attention to those little details that most places in this price range completely ignore. The staff actually remembers your name after day one, the WiFi works consistently throughout the property (seriously, I was getting solid signals even by the pool area), and they’ve got this great communal space where you end up chatting with other travelers without it feeling forced. I spent more time there than I expected, just because the atmosphere was so relaxed. The pool isn’t Olympic-sized or anything, but it’s clean and gets good sun most of the day – perfect for that mid-afternoon break when you need to recharge before heading out again. Parking was straightforward too, which sounds mundane but you’d be amazed how many places make that into a daily headache. Look, it’s not trying to be something it’s not, and that’s exactly why it works so well. You’re getting honest value, genuine hospitality, and a place that feels more like staying at a friend’s well-designed guesthouse than some corporate hotel chain.

  The size of the room was enormous. The cleanliness was spot -on and the quality of the bed and furniture was outstanding. The location is excellent, 5 minutes from shopping facilities, restaurants and the beach. The service was impeccable, everyone super helpful and kind.
  The sea view and balcony were beautiful, I felt very lucky to wake up soaked in sunshine and the view to the ocean.

I accidentally left my keys for the padlock on my bag and Mr Da was kind enough to saw the lock open. Overall pleasant stay and likely to book there again the next time I’m in Phuket.
