But if you want to be close enough to the beach bars and night markets without paying those beachfront prices, this spot gets it right. The rooms are clean and actually quiet considering you’re basically in the middle of everything. I was surprised by that, honestly. You’d think with all the tuk-tuks and motorbikes buzzing around Rat-U-Thit Road nearby, you’d be up all night, but the windows do their job. The air conditioning works properly too, which – trust me – matters more than fancy marble lobbies when it’s 35 degrees and humid.

What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to know their neighborhood. When I asked about getting to the weekend market, the guy at reception didn’t just point vaguely down the street – he actually drew a little map showing me which soi to turn down and warned me about the construction mess near the 7-Eleven corner. That’s the kind of local insight that makes a difference when you’re trying to navigate Patong without getting completely turned around. The whole place has this lived-in feeling, like it’s been part of the community for a while rather than some shiny new development that landed from nowhere. Sure, it’s not going to win any design awards, and the breakfast is pretty basic Thai and continental stuff, but sometimes you just want a solid base where you can dump your beach gear, grab a quick shower, and head out to explore without worrying about sand in your fancy resort slippers.

  I have stayed in over mostly budget hotels this year in Thailand and this one of the best value hotels especially considering its high season. Lots of retusrants and bars 10 minutes walk, beach a little more and Bangla 20 minutes.

  When you first arrive the outside does not look like much but once you get into the room it really is off hotel standard. There is so much space we even had a little couch area in the room. We were provided with water, tea/coffee, hair dryer and even an iron which we have not seen anywhere else. Shower was also really powerful and provided all toiletries. We loved our stay!

  We booked for 1 night to stay at daytime due to our flight to bkk at nighttime. I can’t say much about the hotel as we stayed there for a while to keep our luggage. But if was worth it and the couple staffs are nice and friendly.
