And honestly, being in Rawai is perfect if you know Phuket at all – you’re away from the chaos of Patong and Kata, but you can still get to the good beaches and restaurants without too much hassle. I mean, Rawai Beach itself is more about longtail boats and local seafood than swimming, but that’s actually part of the charm. You’ve got Nai Harn Beach just a quick motorbike ride away when you want that postcard-perfect sand, and the evening seafood market in Rawai is honestly some of the best eating on the island.

The villa itself just works, you know? The air conditioning actually cools the place down (trust me, this matters more than you think), there’s proper water pressure in the showers, and the kitchen is set up like someone who actually cooks designed it. I spent most mornings making coffee and planning the day by the pool, which sounds cliché but felt pretty perfect. The neighborhood is quiet enough that you can hear the birds and whatever’s happening in the surrounding trees, but you’re not isolated – there are local restaurants within walking distance and a 7-Eleven close enough for those late-night snack runs. What I really appreciated is that it’s the kind of place where you can have a proper vacation rhythm – morning coffee by the pool, explore during the day, come back for a swim, then head out for dinner. The fact that it has a perfect 10 rating doesn’t surprise me at all, because honestly, this is how you do a vacation rental right.
