The rooms themselves are modern and spacious, though I’d definitely spring for a bay view room because the mountain view ones face the main road and can get a bit noisy with all the tour vans coming and going in the morning.

What I really appreciated was how the hotel feels removed from the chaos of Patong or Kata, but you’re not stuck in the middle of nowhere either. Chalong Pier is literally a five-minute walk, and there’s this great little night market that sets up on weekends just down the road – nothing too touristy, mostly locals buying dinner, which I mean, that’s always a good sign for authentic food. The hotel’s restaurant is solid but pricey (as expected), so having those local options nearby actually matters. The pool area gets gorgeous afternoon light, and since most guests are out on boat trips during the day, it’s surprisingly peaceful. I spent more time there than I expected, working on my laptop with that view – the WiFi’s reliable, which isn’t always a given in Phuket. The staff really goes out of their way too; when my flight got delayed, they extended my late checkout without any fuss and even arranged airport transfer timing around my new departure. It’s those little things that make a place memorable, you know?

  The room was absolutely beautiful! Clean, luxurious and spacious with high end fittings and great lighting. Private pool was very nice. The rooftop infinity pool and view to the bay was also amazing and the restaurant food very good. We ordered massages which the hotel arranged, which was also a really nice experience. Staff were helpful and polite.
