Look, this isn’t a five-star luxury experience, and I think that’s actually part of its charm. It’s more like staying at a really well-run place that knows what it is and does it consistently well. The 7.8 rating feels about right – there’s nothing dramatically wrong, but there’s also nothing that’s going to make you call all your friends about it. Sometimes that’s exactly what you want though, especially when you’re planning to spend most of your time exploring the island anyway.   The staff was great and super welcoming. They gave us the best room at the far end of the hotel, away from the road and the ongoing construction in the lobby. The pool was fine, but it's located just 5 meters from the main road, in case you haven't checked the map yet.

  Great hotel in a very good location for the shops and restaurants on Boat Avenue. The rooms are very comfortable, most with views over the lake. The staff are all lovely, with a special mention for Ploy, who was always delightful.
