Centre Point Nanai Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Centre Point Nanai? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try to be fancy but somehow gets all the basics surprisingly right. I mean, when you’re walking down Nanai Road – which honestly can feel pretty chaotic with all the tuk-tuks and street food vendors – this three-star spot feels like a bit of a refuge.
The lobby’s nothing to write home about, but there’s something refreshing about a place that doesn’t pretend to be more than it is. Check-in was actually smooth (no waiting around while they fumbled with the computer system), and the staff seemed genuinely helpful rather than just going through the motions. What I really appreciated was how quiet my room was considering you’re basically in the thick of things in Patong. The soundproofing must be better than expected because I barely heard the street noise that usually keeps me up in this part of town. The room itself – well, it’s clean and functional with decent air conditioning that actually works properly, which isn’t always a given at this price point.
Here’s what makes this place work: location without the tourist trap pricing. You’re close enough to walk to Bangla Road when you want that scene, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with drunk backpackers stumbling around at 3 AM. There’s a 7-Eleven literally around the corner (I probably made six trips there during my stay), and some really solid local food spots that most tourists walk right past. The breakfast isn’t going to blow your mind, but it’s better than the sad continental spreads you get at some of the flashier places nearby. I actually found myself looking forward to the Thai-style scrambled eggs they do – simple but done right. The pool area is small but gets good afternoon sun, and it’s usually not crowded since most guests seem to be out exploring during the day. Honestly, for a mid-range place, they’ve figured out how to deliver on the things that actually matter when you’re spending most of your time out and about anyway.

Although the Location was far from the Patong Beach or the Bangla Street, we still chose this Property because it had a rare family-room with 2 double beds and a microwave for basic cooking and a 7-Eleven next door. The current Owner Mr Nayan Aggarwal is a very sweet and helpful person and he always goes out of his way to help. I wish the best for him and hope he is able to improve upon the facilities at this property in near future.

Very spacious and clean. Staff were extremely helpful. We were travelling with three children and the large rooms were excellent for us. The location was fine for us as we went on trips that picked up from the hotel. There is a shop and a number of bars and coffee shops nearby. We went to the BBQ buffet just along from the hotel which was decent and we also ate at the pizza place next door which was also very good.

Centre Point was fantastic value. The rooms are simple and basic, but you have everything you need – good hot shower, cool aircon, big comfy bed, coffee-making facilities, fridge, plentiful storage. My room was vast for the price with a good-sized balcony.
The location is very central and right next door to the best pizza place in Patong.Aissam from France (8/10)
This is a good value hotel, with spacious rooms and balconies. The hotel manager is pleasant and helpful. I recommend this hotel 👍🏼
