I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name, I wasn’t sure what to expect (that “SHA Extra Plus” part had me wondering), but it turns out that’s just their COVID safety certification, which actually ended up being reassuring.

This three-star spot has this relaxed, almost understated vibe that I really appreciated. The spa facilities are genuinely impressive – not just a few massage rooms thrown together, but actually thoughtful wellness spaces where you can tell they’ve put some real investment. I spent a good chunk of one afternoon there, and the staff seemed to actually know what they were doing rather than just going through the motions. The resort layout works well too; it’s spread out enough that you’re not constantly bumping into other guests, but compact enough that you’re not hiking everywhere with your beach bag.

What I found interesting is how they’ve managed to hit that sweet spot between authentic local character and the comfort level most travelers want. The dining was better than I expected – sure, it’s resort food, but they clearly source some ingredients locally and the kitchen staff seems to care about what they’re putting out. I mean, you’re not going to confuse it with fine dining, but for a 3-star place, I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, with that slightly tropical feel without going overboard on the bamboo-and-rattan thing. Air conditioning worked perfectly (always my first test), and honestly, the beds were more comfortable than some pricier places I’ve stayed. One small thing that stuck with me – the housekeeping staff actually pays attention to details, like how they fold your clothes if you leave them out. Service throughout felt genuine rather than scripted, which you notice more than you’d think. The pool area gets busy during peak hours, but if you time it right in the early morning or late afternoon, it’s quite peaceful. I’d definitely consider going back, especially given that 8.3 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be luxury, but it delivers solidly on what it promises.

  Breakfast is a la carte. Order in breakfast room and they bring to your table. Except for fruits and coffee and toast. I liked the plain yogurt offered there, not sweet.

  The Complete stay at the hotel was wonderful, it is well maintained, and has all the amenities you can ask for ( pool, breakfast,lunch dining area with room service, the staff are very accomodating, happy and lovely and always made me feel welcome. My room had everything i needed with a nice outdoor balcony and lovely garden out the front door. It was always kept clean by the wonderful staff and what else can you ask for? i had lovely breakfasts everyday thanks to Shar-po an Eye overseen by Phi who made sure it all ran like clock work and new all our names, also had a couple dinners there as well which were all very tasty.
  I used the bar occasionally while basking in the sun and swimming in that lovely pool always had friendly service with a smile. I can recommend this place to any person. Thankyou to reception who always helped us , thankyou to room maintance and cleaning, we felt like royalty, and once more thank you to bar and restaurant you made us feel so special.
