Burasari Phuket Resort & Spa Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Burasari Phuket Resort & Spa, I wasn’t expecting much. I mean, there are so many resorts scattered around Phuket that it’s hard to know which ones are actually worth your time. But this four-star spot genuinely surprised me in the best way possible.
The thing that struck me immediately was how they’ve managed to create this little oasis that feels completely removed from the chaos of Patong Beach, even though you’re literally just a few minutes away from all the action. You know what I mean – you can walk to the beach clubs and street food stalls when you want that energy, but when you come back to the resort, it’s like stepping into this peaceful bubble. The design is this beautiful blend of traditional Thai architecture with modern touches that actually works, not like some of the places where it feels forced. They’ve got these gorgeous wooden pavilions connected by walkways through lush gardens, and honestly, I spent way too much time just wandering around taking photos.
The spa here is where they really shine – and I’m someone who’s usually skeptical about hotel spas because they’re often overpriced and underwhelming. But their treatments incorporate traditional Thai techniques with this serene setting that makes you forget you’re on a tourist island. The therapists actually know what they’re doing, not just going through the motions. The pool area is another highlight, though it can get busy during peak afternoon hours (I’d recommend hitting it early morning or around sunset). What I really appreciated was the attention to detail in the rooms – everything from the linens to the bathroom amenities felt thoughtfully chosen, not just generic hotel stuff. The air conditioning works properly, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places get that wrong in this climate.
Parking isn’t an issue if you’re renting a scooter or car, and the staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay comfortable without being overly intrusive. I stayed during shoulder season and found it to be the perfect balance of having enough other guests to create a nice atmosphere without feeling crowded. The breakfast spread is solid with good local options alongside the typical international fare, though I’d recommend venturing out to try some of the amazing local spots nearby – the resort staff actually gave me some great recommendations that weren’t just the obvious tourist traps.

I had an incredible stay at Burasari Phuket Resort & Spa! The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and impeccably clean, offering a luxurious yet cozy retreat. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the modern amenities made the stay even more enjoyable.
The pool view from the room was absolutely stunning – I woke up each morning to a serene landscape of lush greenery and the sparkling pool. The pool itself was perfect for a relaxing dip, surrounded by a peaceful and beautiful environment.
As a photographic hotel, Burasari is a true gem. The resort is full of picturesque spots, from its tropical gardens to the elegant architecture and gorgeous pool area. It's a photographer’s dream, providing endless opportunities for beautiful shots.
The location was ideal, offering easy access to Patong Beach’s vibrant atmosphere, yet nestled in a quiet area for a peaceful retreat. It’s also conveniently close to many of Phuket’s top attractions.
One suggestion: I would love to see more Indian vegetarian items added to the breakfast menu. While the variety was great, a wider selection for those with specific dietary preferences would be appreciated.
Overall, a fantastic experience – I highly recommend Burasari for anyone visiting Phuket!Steven from Australia (9/10)

We loved the central location with the cozy and friendly atmosphere that this boutique hotel provided. We particularly appreciated the quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding streets that we felt each time we entered the property…

After the hotel from hell in Krabi, it was such a relief to arrive at this amazing hotel! From the get go, the check in experience was perfect, the staff super friendly, and although the room wasn't quite ready, we were given a welcome drink at the bar and soon given our room key and shown to our room. We chose the 'pool access' room. Lovely clean and modern room. Patong beach was only a minutes walk away! Perfect. This hotel is in the best location and within walking distance to shops, markets, restaurants and bars. We would highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again.
