Look, I’ll be honest with you – when I first heard about Breezotel – SHA Certified, I wasn’t expecting much from a three-star place. But you know what? Sometimes these smaller properties really surprise you, and this one definitely falls into that category.

The whole SHA certification thing actually means something here – they’re not just slapping a sticker on the door and calling it a day. I mean, the cleaning protocols are genuinely thorough, which became pretty obvious during check-in when they walked me through everything they’re doing. The lobby has this clean, modern vibe that feels way more upscale than you’d expect. There’s this subtle coconut scent in the air (not overpowering, thankfully) and the staff genuinely seems to know what they’re doing. The rooms are honestly quite decent – nothing fancy, but the beds are comfortable and the AC actually works properly, which is more than I can say for some places I’ve stayed. The bathroom was spotless, good water pressure, and they stock it with these local toiletries that smell amazing.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. You’re not dealing with street noise or people stomping around in the hallways until all hours. The breakfast spread is pretty solid too – they do this fresh fruit setup that changes daily, and the coffee is actually good (not that weak hotel stuff that tastes like colored water). I noticed they have this little outdoor seating area where people hang out in the evenings, and it’s got a nice relaxed atmosphere where you can actually have a conversation without shouting. The WiFi works everywhere, which honestly is sometimes a gamble at properties like this. One thing though – if you’re someone who needs a lot of drawer space, pack light because storage is somewhat limited. But for the price point and the level of service, I’d definitely stay here again. It’s one of those places that just gets the basics right without trying to be something it’s not.

  The double room I booked was spacious and the double bed was very comfy. It also came with a small balcony for me to dry my clothes. The wet bathroom was basic but clean and the shower was excellent, hot water was always available when I wanted it. The room came with a fridge, a TV and a table for working, something that I could not find in many other hotels for the price that this hotel offered. The aircon was excellent and made my stay very comfortable when it got hot.
  The staff were very friendly and courteous too.
  The hotel was also a decent distance to a supermarket and shops for groceries and about 15 – 20 minutes from some Phuket hotspots by scooter.
