Tucked away in Rawai, this little gem sits close enough to the beach that you can actually hear the waves if you open your balcony door at night, but far enough back that you’re not dealing with the chaos of beachfront foot traffic.

The thing that really struck me about this place is how the staff genuinely seems to care – and I mean that in a way that goes beyond the usual Thai hospitality (which is already pretty incredible). The woman at the front desk remembered my name by day two and actually gave me solid recommendations for local spots that weren’t just tourist traps. The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable, nothing fancy but everything works properly. The air conditioning is surprisingly quiet, which matters more than you’d think when you’re trying to sleep off jet lag. I stayed in one of the rooms facing the small pool area, and honestly, it was perfect for those late afternoon moments when you need to cool off but don’t want to trek to the beach.

What I really appreciated was the location – Rawai isn’t as crazy as Patong or Kata, so you get this more authentic slice of local life. There’s this fantastic seafood market just a short walk away where the fishermen bring in their catch each morning, and the hotel staff can point you toward the best vendors. The breakfast isn’t going to win any awards, but it’s decent enough and they make a surprisingly good Thai coffee. Plus, you’re close to some of the better boat departure points if you want to explore the smaller islands – something a lot of visitors don’t realize until they’re already stuck paying inflated prices from the more touristy beaches. I mean, for what you’re paying here, you’re getting solid value and a chance to experience Phuket without feeling like you’re trapped in a resort bubble. It’s the kind of place where you can actually relax without constantly worrying about your budget.
