I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Boutique Resort 2BR Villa Dalaa 2, Pure Water Pool, Kamala Beach, I thought it sounded like someone just threw every appealing keyword together. But you know what? After spending time there, I get it. This four-star villa actually delivers on pretty much everything that lengthy name promises.

The location in Kamala is what really sold me on this place. You’re far enough from the Patong madness to actually hear the waves at night, but close enough that a quick tuk-tuk ride gets you to the action when you want it. The villa sits in this quiet residential area where you’ll see more locals going about their daily routines than tourists stumbling around with selfie sticks – which honestly feels refreshing after a few days in the busier parts of Phuket. The beach is maybe a five-minute walk downhill, and I mean actually five minutes, not that “five-minute walk” that turns into fifteen when you’re carrying beach gear in the heat.

What impressed me most was how they’ve designed the space to feel genuinely private without being isolated. The pool – and yes, the water really is exceptionally clean, almost crystalline – becomes the centerpiece of the villa. I spent most mornings floating around with coffee, watching the local birds (there’s this tiny yellow one that shows up around 7 AM like clockwork). The two bedrooms are spacious enough that you don’t feel cramped, even if you’re traveling with friends who have different sleep schedules. The master bedroom actually catches a nice cross-breeze in the evenings, so you’re not completely dependent on the air conditioning. I mean, you’ll still want it during the day – this is Thailand – but the natural airflow is surprisingly good. The kitchen setup works well if you want to grab fresh ingredients from the local market, though honestly, with all the incredible food options within walking distance, I mostly used it for keeping drinks cold and making morning coffee. One small thing that bugged me initially was the hot water taking a minute to kick in, but the property manager sorted that out quickly when I mentioned it. The 9.1 rating this place gets makes total sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be some massive resort with every bell and whistle, but what it does offer is executed really well.

  Everything was extremely good!
  The villa is taken care of, the kitchen is well equipped.
  Liked the privacy. Enjoyed the pool in the evenings!!
  A little bit far from everything, but that was never an issue as we rented a car. (There are taxis everywhere, you can use any transportation app to get one within minutes)

  We were greeted at arrival by a lovely polite lady Madam Nipaporn. She showed us to our Villa which was delightful, she briefly showed us around. We were given pool floats to use during our stay, children were super excited. The villa was cleaned everyday by four housekeepers, you get to tell them when to come which was ideal because we had couple of late starts so we did not feel rushed to be out of bed at a certain time. The housekeepers changed our towels every day, changed sheets every other day, sweeped the floors and left us with bottled water. Couple of things to note, unfortunately Alam no longer works here, we opted to stay at this Villa after reading all the highly rated compliments about him, so we had to stay at this villa and meet this amazing person. We were disappointed to be told he no longer works here; from all the reviews I can tell he was a credit to this establishment. Another thing to note the is no 24hour reception in the Villa however you are added to a group chat and any questions you have you just message on the group chat, you receive a reply immediately. The is no restaurant connected to the Villa, but the is restaurants available in the surrounding area which is 10mins walking distance. We hired a car for the duration of our stay at Phuket to make traveling easy with two small children, it was the best option for us. The is safe secure parking space available at the villa. The is a slight language barrier, the host do not speak English too well, so I recommend downloading Google Translate on your phone to communicate with the host more effectively. The is an electric deposit you will have to give on the day you arrive, this deposit can be in any currency we gave £140 deposit but on your last day this fee will have to be paid in Thai Baht. All in all, I would recommend this place to anyone traveling with family. Me and my family would like to thank Nipaporn and her team.

  The resort had a very professional but relaxed atmosphere. The villa itself was very clean, modern, spacious and the pool was immaculate. The staff could not be more helpful. The highlight of the stay was one of the staff members named Alam who was incredibly nice, friendly and would go above and beyond, even in his personal time to make sure you’re happy and help with every situation. I’m not sure if we’ve ever met someone so helpful and would happily stay there again to stay at a very nice establishment with the best help there is. 4.5 stars for the villa. 5 stars for Alam!
