I mean, during the day you’ll hear some activity from the main road below, but honestly, it’s nothing compared to what you’d deal with in the town center. The rooms are pretty straightforward – clean, functional, nothing fancy but everything works. The air conditioning actually keeps up with the heat, which is more than I can say for some supposedly higher-end places I’ve stayed. What really won me over was the staff’s genuine helpfulness. The front desk guy (I think his name was Som) gave me directions to this incredible local noodle spot that I never would have found otherwise – it’s tucked away down this narrow alley that doesn’t even look like it leads anywhere.

Here’s what you should know if you’re thinking about staying here: the walk up from the main road is a bit of a climb, so factor that in if you’ve got heavy luggage or mobility concerns. But once you’re up there, you get why they built it on the hillside. The breakfast area has these big windows that frame the valley perfectly, and I found myself lingering over coffee way longer than usual just taking it all in. The Wi-Fi is solid throughout the building – I was able to work from the small lobby area when I needed a change of scenery from my room. Parking is actually easier than at most places around here since they have their own little lot, though it fills up during peak season. The whole place has this relaxed, unpretentious vibe that grew on me. It’s the kind of spot where you don’t feel like you have to dress up to walk through the lobby, but you’re still comfortable bringing your parents or whoever. I’d definitely come back – sometimes you just want a clean, comfortable base without all the fuss, and this place delivers on that promise without breaking the bank.

  My recent stay at this hotel was a mixed experience, resulting in a 7/10 rating. While there were some positive aspects, a notable issue with housekeeping left me somewhat dissatisfied.
  
  On the positive side, the hotel's location was convenient, around 1 km from first 7-Eleven and at the same place is a bus waiting point. The staff was generally friendly and accommodating.
  
  View from the room was incredible and the pool was great and quite clean.
  
  Room is big and there is a lot of space for bags and even more. Bathroom is also pretty big, even tho a curtain would fit nicely because this way the water goes everywhere.

  They’re almost filthy mould on the wall. Mattress stains on it not very good was it? In the toilet a piece of metal hanging out of the wall, I cut my leg on it when I sat on the toilet.
