You’re right there in Chalong Bay, which – if you’ve never been to Phuket – is this perfect sweet spot where you get the real island vibe without all the crazy tourist madness of Patong. I mean, you can actually hear the water lapping against the pier in the morning instead of, well, drunk backpackers stumbling home at 4 AM. The villa-style setup means you’re not crammed into some massive resort complex either, which I actually preferred. There’s something nice about having your own little space with a bit of breathing room around you.

What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to genuinely know the area – not just the standard tourist stuff everyone tells you about. The guy at reception (wish I could remember his name) pointed me toward this local seafood place about ten minutes away that I never would’ve found otherwise. And parking? Zero issues, which is honestly a relief because navigating Phuket’s roads can be… well, let’s just say it’s an adventure. The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable without being flashy – exactly what you want when you’re spending most of your time exploring anyway. Sure, it’s not going to win any design awards, but the AC works great (crucial in that humidity), and the beds are actually decent. I’ve stayed in supposedly fancier places where I woke up feeling like I’d slept on a rock.

The real win here is that you’re positioned perfectly for island hopping – the pier is literally right there, so you can catch boats to Coral Island or Phi Phi without dealing with the chaos of other departure points. Plus, if you want to venture into the busier parts of Phuket, it’s totally doable but you get to retreat back to this quieter corner at the end of the day. That balance is hard to find, honestly. The 8.0 rating makes total sense to me because while it’s not luxury by any stretch, it delivers exactly what most people actually need: a clean, comfortable base in a great location with helpful people running the show. Sometimes that’s worth way more than marble bathrooms and fancy lobbies you’ll barely use anyway.

  Facilities! Pool was lovely, absolute sun trap! Exactly what we were after – sunbathe/read book leg of our trip! Great option to have access to a kitchen and bike rental.
  Some cute local restaurants walking distance.

  The room were clean and nice and beautifully decorated. Room was spacious and the view of the pool was great. Staff was helpful and welcoming.

  The good: bed is firm and supportive and bed linen was spotless. Room also spotless although a rogue cockroach in its death throes was on the floor when I woke on day 2 (stayed 2 nights). Yuk. Room is basic and no frills. Kettle (but no mugs or coffee/tea), 2 glasses, fridge with 2 small bottles of water on day 1, TV and 2 toilet rolls. Soap and shampoo are in dispensers in the bathroom. Small electric shower in there. Its all about as basic as it gets, but apart from the cockroach, no issues with cleanliness (and these blighters get into the cleanest rooms).
  
  I only came across 1 staff member who spoke English (and no, I don't expect staff to speak English) but all staff were friendly and helpful when needed.
  
  The biggest positive was that I had originally booked 5 nights here (thank goodness that didn't happen given what I've written below) and had to change my plans to stay just 2 nights. Even though the booking was listed as non-refundable, the hotel did agree to refund me. That was a much appreciated gesture and given the massive demand for rooms in Phuket at this time of year, I would imagine they would have found another guest with no issue-I hope so, given this kind gesture.

  I like the neighborhood that the villa is located in. It is very quiet. There isn't much around but a quick 10-minute drive and you can be at the shopping center. I walked everywhere since I do not know how to ride a motorcycle. I did not mind the walk. Phuket Fight Club is a 15-minute walk away.

  The room was simple but had all you need for the stay..the place is very quite ,with bolt you can get where ever you need. The pool is very nice. Great value for money.

  Staff friendly, cute friendly cats, clean rooms, quiet area, some restaurants and a Tops about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. They have a bar on site where you can get tea/coffee/soft drinks and beers, and an outdoor kitchen you can use to cook. They also have laundry facilities available.

  Friendly staff, clean facility. The owners allowed us to continue to extend our stay and were very patient in dealing with us.
  Nice and quiet place. Far from all the noise. If you want to travel best you get a scooter otherwise Grab is easy to use.
  I stayed here as I wanted to train at Phuket Fight Club which was a 10 min walk.
