You’re still close enough to all the action (I could hear the longtail boats in the distance during my morning coffee), but far enough away that you actually get some peace. The pool area became my go-to spot around 4 PM when the afternoon heat started breaking – there’s this perfect breeze that kicks in, and honestly, I spent way more time there than I planned. The rooms are clean and comfortable, nothing fancy but everything works, which is more than I can say for some pricier places I’ve stayed. I actually appreciated that the air conditioning wasn’t one of those industrial units that sounds like a jet engine all night.

What really sealed it for me was the staff – they’ve got this relaxed approach that feels authentically Thai rather than that over-the-top hospitality you sometimes get at the bigger chains. The front desk guy (wish I remembered his name) gave me actual useful directions to the local night market, not just the touristy one everyone knows about. And the breakfast? Well, it’s not going to win any awards, but the fresh fruit was incredible and the Thai options were legit – I mean, proper som tam that had some real kick to it. The whole vibe here is just… comfortable, I guess? Like staying at a friend’s place who happens to live in paradise. For the price point, especially if you’re planning to spend most of your time exploring rather than lounging in luxury, this place makes total sense. Just don’t expect a spa or fancy cocktail service – but then again, you’re in Phuket, so why would you need that when the real adventure is outside your door anyway?

  Staff very friendly and helpful. Our second room was fresh, clean and comfortable. Pools, gym and even table tennis were great. Tasty breakfast and top location.

  The rooms are spotless, we had a beautiful balcony, the mattress was firm and was perfect for us. Our room was cleaned and fresh water every day. The breakfast buffet is just amazing , so many things to choose from and everything is cooked perfectly. The chef is very friendly and likes to come out and say hello in the morning to see everyone. The beach is right across the road , markets and shops all in the area and a lovely massage parlour just down the road. This is our second time staying here and i will stay here again

  This was a great hotel resort. We also stayed at their sister resort in Bangtao. We originally booked a hotel right next door which was a new boutique hotel. We checked in and quickly realized it was not the place for us. We walked over to this Best Western and moved over the next day. This hotel has three pools, nice restaurant, and the staff were wonderful. The rooms were large and well stocked. The grounds were natural and full of trees and natural environment. The lobby features free coffee and iced tea and has a pool table and a very relaxing area to wait for taxis and shuttles. The hotel is located right next to restaurants, massage spas, and 7-11. I am really unsure how the hotel is considered a 3 star hotel. It is definitely a 4 star.

  Good selection for breakfast, room was large and always well kept, shower had two shower heads including a rain head and good pressure. Staff were friendly and great especially those working in the dining area and also the barman.
