The lobby has that slightly dated tropical vibe – you know, lots of wicker and palm prints – but it’s clean and the air conditioning actually works well throughout the common areas. My room faced the ocean, and while the furniture was pretty basic, waking up to that view made up for the somewhat thin walls (you’ll hear your neighbors if they’re early risers or night owls). The bathroom was surprisingly spacious, though the water pressure in the shower was just okay – not great, not terrible. One thing that caught me off guard was how quiet the beach gets in the evenings.
