The villa itself is honestly gorgeous in that understated way that doesn’t try too hard. The pool (and trust me, this is the star of the show) sits right there like it’s been waiting for you personally. It’s not massive, but it doesn’t need to be – it’s perfectly proportioned for the space, with these smooth stone edges that actually feel good under your feet. I spent way too many mornings just floating there with my coffee, watching the light change through the trees overhead. The water temperature was spot-on too, which sounds like a small thing until you’ve experienced too many places where the pool feels like an ice bath or a hot tub with commitment issues.

What I really appreciated was how the staff managed to be attentive without being hovering – you know that delicate balance that’s harder to pull off than it looks? They’d appear exactly when you needed something but never made you feel like you were being watched. The room itself had this lived-in elegance, if that makes sense. Everything worked properly (the air conditioning was actually quiet, hallelujah), the bed was one of those you sink into just right, and the bathroom had enough space to spread out your stuff without playing Tetris with toiletries. I particularly loved the little outdoor seating area attached to the villa – perfect for that evening drink when the day starts cooling down. Sure, the WiFi could be a touch faster if you’re trying to upload photos, but honestly, that forced me to actually disconnect for a bit, which wasn’t the worst thing. The location gives you that secluded feeling while still being accessible enough that you don’t feel completely cut off from civilization. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find yourself extending your stay if you can swing it – I certainly considered it.

  So comfortable and has everything you need! You don't even have to bring towels or anything else. Trash bins and drinking water were provided. The staff were so lovely and helpful and even wanted to clean the villa for us during our stay. This is so much more service than I am used to when renting a villa like this, so I was amazed! Very luxurious vibe.
