I mean, the air conditioning was ice cold (thank goodness), and the shower had decent water pressure, which you can’t always count on. The staff here genuinely seem to care about making sure you’re settled in okay, and several of them speak multiple languages, which makes sense given the international clientele they clearly cater to. What really struck me was how quiet it gets at night – you know how some places can be right on a busy road where you hear motorbikes until 2 AM? Not here. I slept better than I expected.

You know what I liked most though? The little details that show someone’s actually thinking about the guest experience. There’s this small seating area near the front where you can just sit and plan your day without feeling like you’re in the way, and they keep cold water available throughout the day. The location works well if you’re looking for something more residential and peaceful – it’s not right in the thick of tourist central, but you’re not stranded either. I found myself walking to a few local spots that I probably wouldn’t have discovered if I’d stayed somewhere more obvious. The morning routine here is pretty laid-back too; check-out doesn’t feel rushed, and they’re happy to store your luggage if you need a few extra hours to explore before heading to your next destination. For what you pay, it delivers exactly what it promises – a solid, unpretentious place to rest your head with people who actually seem to enjoy hospitality work.

  Great hotel very conveniently located, a short stroll away from Jungceylon shopping mall and about 20 minutes to the beach. The structure is very nice, the standard rooms are specious and bright, with a good view on the greeny hillside. The establishment is very quiet and relaxed and the pool a great addition, generously sized compared to close by alternatives. All in all a very pleasant stay for a few days, highly recommended.
