The setup is actually perfect if you want to be close enough to walk to Patong’s restaurants and nightlife (maybe 10-15 minutes along the beach road) but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the constant noise and crowds. I stayed here during shoulder season and honestly, some mornings it felt like having a private slice of coastline – you’ll hear the waves instead of motorbikes, which is saying something for this part of Thailand.

The apartment itself has that practical, no-frills vibe you’d expect from a local guesthouse operation. The balcony is really where you’ll spend your time though – I found myself out there with morning coffee just watching the fishing boats head out, and later with evening drinks as the sky turned all those ridiculous tropical colors. The locals who run it know the area well, and they pointed me toward this little seafood spot tucked back from the main road that I never would’ve found otherwise. Actually, staying in Kalim gives you access to some of the better local eats without the tourist markup you get closer to Bangla Road. The building itself feels lived-in rather than polished – think functional air conditioning and reliable Wi-Fi rather than fancy amenities, but honestly that works when the real attraction is literally right outside your window. Just be prepared for some wear around the edges, and if you’re someone who needs everything pristine, this might not be your speed. But if you want legitimate ocean views without paying resort prices, and you don’t mind the more authentic local apartment experience, it’s actually a solid choice for exploring this part of Phuket.

  非常漂亮的公寓，海景比照片上更好，位置也很好。距离海滩只需要步行几分钟，但是需要爬4层楼梯。不过还好我们租了摩托车可以直接从另外一条汽车通行的路下去！所以对我们没有影响。
