You know what struck me first about B Happy Resort – SHA ExtraPlus? The name actually makes sense once you’re there – there’s this genuinely relaxed vibe that just sort of washes over you the moment you walk through the lobby. I mean, I’ve stayed at plenty of places that promise happiness in their branding, but this three-star spot actually delivers on that promise without trying too hard.

The thing is, when you see a 9.0 rating, you might expect something flashier, but that’s not what this place is about. It’s more like… well, imagine if your most organized friend decided to run a resort. Everything works exactly as it should, the staff genuinely seems to enjoy their jobs (which honestly makes such a difference), and there are these thoughtful little touches everywhere that you don’t notice until you need them. The pool area, for instance – it’s not massive or Instagram-perfect, but the loungers are actually comfortable, there’s decent shade when you want it, and the water’s always clean. I spent way more time there than I planned, just reading and occasionally chatting with other guests who seemed equally content to do absolutely nothing productive.

What really won me over, though, was how the place handles the whole SHA ExtraPlus certification thing. Instead of making it feel clinical or overly bureaucratic, they’ve woven the health and safety protocols into the experience so seamlessly that you barely notice them – except you feel more relaxed knowing everything’s properly taken care of. The rooms are spotless (and I mean really spotless), the air circulation is excellent, and somehow they’ve managed to maintain that personal, welcoming atmosphere despite all the extra procedures. My room faced the garden area, which was surprisingly quiet even during the day, and the bed was one of those perfect medium-firm situations where you actually wake up feeling rested. The bathroom products were better than expected too – nothing fancy, but definitely a step up from typical three-star offerings. I actually found myself looking forward to coming back to the room each evening, which doesn’t always happen when you’re traveling. It’s the kind of place where you can genuinely unwind, whether you’re there for a quick getaway or planning to stay put for a week.

  The staff are super nice and friendly, we loved the pool, the restaurant is great and we actually liked that it was further from the 'party' area, the walk to the beach is not that bad, and the supermarkets and the food places are pretty close.

  Very kind and friendly owner with her wife arrange all your needs. Located in a quiet area near from downtown. They also offer breakfast or dinner for reasonable prices. Definitely recommended.!

  Nice, quiet area but not too far from the beach and city pulse. Good spacious rooms with all that you need, refillable water bottles and water, small cooling pool and a small area for breakfast and dinner. Owner, Guido very welcoming and always near for help or recommendations.

  Great room with kitchen, relaxing balcony and very quiet on the facility. Clean and refreshing pool and good restaurant. Very friendly staff and hosts that speak good English.

  Rented a motorbike from the hosts to a good price. Located on the other side of the main road to the beach but with some practice we easily and safely crossed it each day, even with a stroller, if we did not cross at the designated place but at the Black Mamba and waited on the raised area in the middle of the road until red light. Many 7 eleven and large grocery stores near by like Tops, Villa Market and Big C.
