What really sold me on this four-star spot was how quiet it gets at night – something you definitely can’t take for granted in Thailand. I slept with the windows cracked open most nights, just listening to the occasional gecko chirping instead of traffic noise. During the day, you’re maybe fifteen minutes from Bang Tao Beach if you grab a taxi or rent a scooter, which puts you right in that perfect zone where the sand’s still decent but you’re not fighting crowds for a spot to put your towel down. The neighborhood around the house feels properly local too – there’s a little market within walking distance where the vendors actually remember your face after a couple days, and honestly, that’s worth more to me than any fancy hotel amenities. The owner seems to have thought through the practical stuff travelers actually care about – decent WiFi that doesn’t cut out every twenty minutes, air conditioning that works without sounding like a jet engine, and enough hot water for two people to shower without the second person getting blasted with ice water. Sure, it’s not going to win any design awards, but sometimes you just want a place that feels comfortable and genuine rather than Instagram-perfect.

  Self catering, really good size accommodation, clean, open, comfortable and well-equipped. Hosts via booking.com message but very responsive. Nice clean villa in a small row of 5 with easy access and easy parking. Location close to many shops and restaurants and a short drive to everywhere. The pictures on the web are very accurate. Kitchen is very good – remember to plug in the fridge on arrival. Aircon in bedrooms only but leave the bedroom doors open to cool the property.
