ANONA SUNSET Boutique Overview
You know what really caught me off guard about ANONA SUNSET Boutique? I honestly wasn’t expecting much when I first heard the name – it sounds almost too trendy, if you know what I mean. But this five-star boutique property completely changed my perspective on what a luxury hotel can be.
The moment you walk in, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually thought about every single detail. I mean, the lobby isn’t huge or flashy, but it has this warm, sophisticated vibe that feels more like stepping into a well-traveled friend’s impeccably designed home than a typical hotel. The staff genuinely seems to care – not in that overly rehearsed way you get at some places, but like they’re actually invested in making sure you have a good time. During my stay, the front desk manager remembered I mentioned wanting restaurant recommendations and came back with handwritten notes about places only locals really know about. That kind of attention is rare, honestly.
What really sets this place apart is how they’ve managed to nail that boutique experience without sacrificing the amenities you’d expect from a top-tier property. The rooms are spacious enough that you’re not bumping into furniture, but intimate enough that it feels cozy rather than impersonal. The bathroom situation is particularly well done – I’m talking rainfall shower that actually has good pressure and those little touches like quality toiletries that you don’t mind using. The beds are seriously comfortable too, which matters more than people think when you’re dealing with travel fatigue. I actually slept better there than I do at home, which is saying something. The sunset views (hence the name, I suppose) are legitimately spectacular if you get a room facing the right direction – worth asking about when you book. Even if you don’t, the common areas have plenty of spots where you can catch the evening light with a drink in hand. The whole property has this relaxed elegance that makes you want to slow down and actually enjoy where you are instead of just using it as a place to crash between activities. With a 9.2 rating, it’s clear I’m not the only one who feels this way about the place.
To book a hotel in Phuket during peak season from December to March, travelers need early planning as this stunning island draws visitors eager to experience its crystal-clear waters and world-famous sunset views.

friendly staff. sea view is amazing.
Chaimaa from Morocco (10/10)
Our stay at Anona was perfect. The room was big and the bed really comfortable. It had a direct view of the sea and we were able to watch the sunset from our balcony. The breakfast was very diversified and the staff was so nice and accomodating. The hotel is just a 5 minute drive from Karon beach. It is built on a hill so the walk from the rooms to the restaurant/lobby is a little hard but they provide golf carts that customers can use and which make the stay even more fun!

The staff were so sweet and helpful! They noticed small details, the bartender at the pool noticed we were taking photos and took our photos for us.The room was clean and the bed really comfortable! And the view from the breakfast was amazing! The breakfast was good, had a lot of options! You could get a ride from your room to the breakfast so you didnt have to walk the hill

I like to thank everyone especially the people who delivered us from the room to the lobby back and forth also the room service people they were just nice people, also I would like to the thank Cape Rock restaurant staff their food is delicious and their service is excellent. The hotel gave attention to every detail, well, except for their water source, it wasn’t clean.
