Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Andaman Hill Pool Seaview, I was expecting one of those places that promises ocean views from every room and delivers a glimpse of blue between two concrete buildings. But you know what? This three-star spot actually delivers on what it says, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

The thing about this place is that it sits up on one of those hillside spots where you can genuinely see the water stretching out below you. I mean, it’s not like you’re perched on a cliff or anything dramatic, but there’s something really satisfying about having that pool area where you can float around and actually look out at the sea instead of staring at the back of someone’s balcony. The pool itself is nothing fancy – sort of kidney-shaped, decent size for laps if you’re into that – but it’s clean and the water temperature is just right. What I really appreciated was that they don’t blast music all day, so you can actually hear the waves in the distance if you listen for it.

The rooms are pretty straightforward, which honestly worked for me. Clean sheets, air conditioning that actually works (and you’ll want it), and yeah, most of them do have that seaview they’re promising. Mine had this little balcony where I’d sit with coffee in the morning – nothing Instagram-worthy, just a plastic chair and a small table, but the view made up for the basic furniture. The staff is genuinely helpful too, not in that overly rehearsed way some places do, but like they actually want you to enjoy your stay. I had questions about getting around the area, and the front desk guy drew me this little map with shortcuts that definitely weren’t in any guidebook. The whole place has this relaxed vibe that grows on you – it’s not trying to be something it’s not, which is refreshing when you’ve stayed at places that promise the moon and deliver a parking lot view. Sure, you’re not getting marble bathrooms or fancy room service, but if you want a solid base with a decent pool and legitimate ocean views without paying resort prices, this place makes a lot of sense.

  Der private Pool war bis jetzt der beste den ich hatte. Der Pool war mindestens 3 Meter tief und er wurde jeden Tag gereinigt. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Bett war sehr bequem. selten so gut geschlafen in patong. Die große Fensterfront war verdunkelt. Dadurch war es immer kühl im Zimmer und man brauchte keine aircon.
