I mean, that’s not something you can plan for exactly, but the staff knows when it’s most likely to happen. The water here can be a bit rougher than the more sheltered southern beaches – this is the Andaman Sea doing its thing – but that also means fewer crowds and more space to actually relax. The restaurant on-site does solid Thai food (the green curry is legit spicy, not tourist spicy), and there’s a good spa if you’re into that, though honestly, just walking this beach at sunset might be all the therapy you need. One small thing that caught me off guard – the resort runs a shuttle to nearby restaurants and the local market, which sounds minor but actually opens up your dining options quite a bit without the hassle of renting a scooter or dealing with taxi prices every time you want to eat somewhere different.
