You know what surprised me about Airport Pearl Residence? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try to be something it’s not, and honestly, that’s exactly what makes it work. When I first pulled up, I’ll admit I wasn’t expecting much from a three-star property – but sometimes you need to look past the rating system because this place punches way above its weight class.

The thing that struck me right away was how quiet it actually is, despite being so close to the airport. I mean, you’d think you’d be dealing with constant plane noise, but the soundproofing is surprisingly solid. I barely heard anything overnight, which was a relief since I’m one of those people who wakes up if a neighbor sneezes. The rooms have this clean, minimalist vibe that feels more boutique than budget – nothing fancy, but everything works and the beds are genuinely comfortable. The shower pressure is excellent too, which you don’t always get at places in this price range.

What really won me over though was the staff. They’ve got this efficiency thing down to an art form – check-in was seamless, they actually remembered my name during my stay, and when I needed restaurant recommendations, the front desk guy didn’t just hand me a generic tourist pamphlet. He gave me specific directions to a local spot that ended up being incredible. The breakfast setup is pretty straightforward but they nail the basics – proper coffee, fresh fruit, and they don’t run out of things halfway through service like some places do. Plus, if you’re catching an early flight, they’ll pack you something to go, which is such a thoughtful touch. I’ve stayed at supposedly higher-end hotels that couldn’t be bothered with details like that. The location really is the sweet spot too – close enough to the airport that you’re not stressed about timing, but far enough away that you feel like you’re actually somewhere, not just camping out in a terminal hotel.

  The host lady is such a kind and helpful soul. I had my trolley lock messed up after a bus journey from Khao sok and not able to open my trolley as the lock got reset she took me and my luggage on her bike to places to get that fixed. Even after roaming to two three places when we didn't find anyone to fix the lock she called someone who can fix it directly to the hotel and get it fixed. Clean and nice room and bathroom.

  Excellent to stay near airport, 15 minutes walking. They leave in the fridge some drinks to buy, at almos same price than supermarket

  Walking distance to the airport. It was no problem to check in after 10 pm. There was a mosquito net on the window so I could open it for the night and didn't have to use the air conditioner.

  Only stayed for 1 night, as we landed after 9pm. Great location, close to the airport. The host met us outside to handover key. Bed was comfy, great bathroom facility. Worth its value, would definitely stay again when return to Phuket. Thankyou

  The room got everything you need. It was very clean and comftable with all the amenities you need and furnitures are new. It has a nice TV that has Netflix if you like it and a nice sitting table. The room was really perfect but outside of the room there is nothing.
  BTW if you are planning to take a taxi to the hotel book it with the landlady it's only 150 baht much less than the cabs outside or even Bolt or Grab (yes I was surprised too). But if you like to walk it's just 13 min away from the airport.
